Enjoy a relaxing tea ceremony one-on-one or in a small group setting. The art of holding ceremony is a crucial practice in cultures around the world. I have had the honor of studying both chakai and chaji Japanese tea rights under the wing of a Tea master for five years. I have found a personal way of holding ceremonies that holds true to my traditional trainings while highlighting the plant/body/mind connection that aligns with my study as an herbalist- this having a more relaxed approach.
I invite others to wear comfortable clothes, stew on each tea we meet, enjoy the space with gather in and ground into the stillness of the meditative experience.
Often we open with a gentle prompt to ponder before spending an hour or two tasting different herbal, green, white, and pu’er teas.
1 hour session is $40 per person
